Will This Midi To Usb Cable Work For A Yamaha Psr-79?

I have a yamaha psr-79 and I need a midi to usb cable, badly. Will this cable work? I was going to buy a midi to usb cable from radioshack, but I read some of the customer reviews and they said that it wasn’t compatible with their yamaha piano keyboards.

  1. It *should* work as long as the included drivers work well with your system. Here’s a slighty cheaper cable that may work as well:http://keyboards-midi. musiciansfriend. co…
It’s from Yamaha and is also a MIDI to USB cable. You can find them even cheaper at Amazon and eBay but I would stay with a name brand if it were me. Hope this helps!
